Baked Ziti

This easy baked ziti is comfort food at its finest. Cheesy, saucy, and packed with flavor using just a handful of classic ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box ziti pasta (16 oz)
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce (24 oz)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta: Boil ziti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Preheat oven: Set to 375°F
  3. Mix: In a large bowl, combine the cooked ziti, spaghetti sauce, and ricotta cheese. Stir until well coated.
  4. Layer: In a 9x13" baking dish, spread half of the ziti mixture. Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella cheese on top. Add the remaining ziti mixture, then top with the remaining 1 cup mozzarella and sprinkle with Parmesan.
  5. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Cool & serve: Let it sit for 5–10 minutes before serving.
