  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  1. Preheat oven: Set your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a ramekin with cooking spray or a touch of oil.
  2. Prepare the bread: Place the cubed bread into the ramekin. Add raisins or nuts if desired.
  3. Mix the custard: In a small bowl, mash the banana thoroughly. Whisk in the milk, beaten egg, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Combine: Pour the banana custard mixture over the bread cubes in the ramekin. Press the bread gently to help it soak up the liquid. Let it sit for 5 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  5. Bake: Place the ramekin on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
