Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined. Don’t overmix.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool before cutting into squares.
