Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb beef stew cubes
  • 2 cups potatoes peeled and diced
  • 2 cups carrots peeled and diced
  • 1 onion peeled and diced
  • cups water
  • ½ tbsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 1 tbsp rosemary
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • ½ tbsp salt

Method
 

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Peel and dice 2 cups of potatoes and slice 2 cups of carrots.
  2. Layer in Crockpot: Add the beef, potatoes, and carrots evenly to the crockpot.
  3. Mix Liquid and Seasoning: In a bowl, combine 1¼ cups of water with salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, and garlic. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Assemble and Cook: Pour the seasoned water mixture evenly over the ingredients in the crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours, until the beef is tender and the vegetables are fully cooked.

Notes

Optional Thickening:
If you prefer a thicker stew, mix 1 tablespoon of flour with 2 tablespoons of water to form a slurry. Stir it into the stew during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
