Ingredients
  

  • 1 Ib shaved ribeye steak
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (4-8 slices)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • ½ cup sliced bell peppers (optional)
  • 4 long Italian rolls
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add diced onions (and peppers if using). Cook 3 to 4 minutes until soft.
  3. Add shaved ribeye to the skillet. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook 3 to 4 minutes, breaking up the meat as it cooks.
  5. Divide the meat mixture into sections in the pan and top each portion with cheddar cheese. Let it melt.
  6. Toast the Italian long rolls if desired.
  7. Scoop the cheesy steak mixture into each roll and serve hot.
