Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt (optional)

Equipment

  • Cuisinart or Ninja Ice Cream Maker

Method

  1. Whisk the Base: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the protein powder, sugar, cinnamon and salt (if using). Slowly add in the milk, whisking until all dry ingredients are fully dissolved. Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract.
  2. Chill the Mixture: Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results. This helps the flavors blend and ensures a smoother texture when churning. This step is recommended but optional depending on time.
  3. Churn: Assemble and turn on your Cuisinart or Ninja ice cream maker. Pour the chilled mixture into the bowl and churn for 20–25 minutes, or until it reaches soft-serve consistency.
  4. Freeze for Firmer Texture: For soft-serve style enjoy immediately. For scoopable ice cream, transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for an additional 2–4 hours.
