Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • tsp baking soda
  • tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips
Optional Protein Addition
  • 1 tbsp vanilla protein powder Replace 1 tablespoon of the flour with protein powder

Method
 

Oven Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Mix in vanilla extract.
  4. Add flour, baking soda, and salt; mix until combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Shape dough into a ball and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet. If no parchment paper, grease baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden. Cool slightly before serving.
Microwave Directions
  1. Follow steps 2–5 to prepare the dough.
  2. Place dough in a microwave-safe mug or small dish and flatten slightly.
  3. Microwave on high for 40–60 seconds. Check for doneness; the edges should be set while the center remains slightly soft.
