Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbso granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • cup milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries diced
  • ¼ tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat: your Waffle Maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. In a large bowl: whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl: beat the eggs, then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients: stirring until just combined. Gently fold in the diced strawberries.

  5. Lightly grease the waffle maker with cooking spray or melted butter.
  6. Pour batter into the preheated waffle maker, spreading evenly but not overfilling. Close the lid and cook according to your waffle maker's settings (usually about 3–5 minutes or until golden brown).
  7. Carefully remove waffles and repeat with remaining batter.
  8. Serve warm: topped with extra strawberries, a drizzle of maple syrup, or a dusting of powdered sugar.
