  • cup milk  (or your choice of milk alternative)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a small ramekin or oven-safe dish.
  2. Prepare the custard: In a small bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  3. Assemble the bread pudding: Place the bread cubes into the ramekin and sprinkle the chocolate chips throughout. Pour the custard mixture over the bread, pressing gently to ensure all pieces are soaked. Let it sit for 5 minutes
