Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Baker’s chocolate unsweetened or semi-sweet
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 ounces
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups mint fudge baking chunks can substitute with mint chocolate chips
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Method

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper or foil, leaving an overhang.
  2. Melt the Chocolate Base: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the chopped Baker’s chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir constantly until the chocolate and butter are fully melted and smooth.
  3. Add Flavorings: Remove the saucepan from heat and mix in the vanilla extract, mint fudge baking chunks and a pinch of salt, if desired.
  4. Pour and Chill: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Garnish the top with a few mint fudge baking chunks. Let it cool at room temperature for 10–15 minutes, then refrigerate for 2–3 hours until fully set.
  5. Cut and Serve: Once the fudge is firm, lift it out of the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut into 1 inch squares, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

Sweeten (If Using Unsweetened Chocolate)

If you’re using unsweetened chocolate, stir in 1/4–1/2 cup of granulated sugar to taste as the mixture melts. Continue stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
